THE PROJECT
We enable our young future leaders to turn theatre spaces into civic spaces, uniting communities despite their distances and differences with one voice saying it’s time to put an end to gun violence. It’s time we say ENOUGH.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
We call on TEENS in GRADES 6-12 from across the country to write and submit 10-minute plays that confront the issue of gun violence. Select playwrights will be published by Playscripts in a collected anthology that can be licensed for future productions and their play will be produced as part of our Nationwide Reading. Writers will also receive payment for their work, memberships and craft training from The Dramatists Guild, and feedback from professional playwrights.
NEXT ROUND TBA
SELECTION PROCESS
A committee composed of award-winning playwrights selects 6-8 plays. Learn more about the last year's Selection Committee.
NATIONWIDE READING
We invite theatres, schools, colleges, and other organizations to produce staged readings of this year's plays for their community. Performed simultaneously across the country on the same night, these readings will be part of an evening of reflection, dialogue and action.
