The GOAL: a tidal wave of messages reaching lawmakers from now through June 11th telling them ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
This is not just our usual call for teen writers.
This is open to teens, adults, writers, non-writers, parents, teachers, survivors, responsible gun owners, any and all concerned Americans
We are all in this together.
We need everybody’s voice.
What you write is up to you. A monologue. A testimonial. A prayer. Prose. Poetry. Eloquent. Messy. Doesn't matter. Just ask yourself:
What do you need your lawmakers to hear?
What do you need them to DO?
RAISE YOUR VOICE!
MAKE THEM HEAR YOU!
INVITE OTHERS TO JOIN YOU!

Deadline: Nov 1, 2021
We're calling on writers in grades 6-12 to write short plays confronting the issue of gun violence.
What does a gun violence survivor, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, two of the country's most acclaimed playwrights, one of the most-produced Native-playwrights, and the most produced playwright in American schools have in common? They'll select the #ENOUGH plays!
Make your voice heard. Write a 10-min play confronting gun violence for #ENOUGH and get the word out.
Share #ENOUGH with your students, make it part of your curriculum, and/or host a reading at your school.
